Hoosier Boys State Delegate:
During
the time you will be attending Hoosier Boys State, you will be covered
by a group insurance policy taken out by The American Legion Hoosier
Boys State Corporation through the Sentry Insurance Company.
IMPORTANT! THIS POLICY IS IN EXCESS TO ANY OTHER VALID AND COLLECTIBLE
INSURANCE PLAN CARRIED BY YOUR PARENTS.
This
means that should you incur any medical bills for treatment of an
illness or injury while you are in attendance at Hoosier Boys State,
these bills would first be submitted through your parents group
insurance carrier. Consideration of payments not processed by your
parent’s company would then be forwarded to Sentry Insurance.
Should
an injury or illness occur while you are attending Hoosier Boys State,
you and your parents will be provided with all necessary forms and
information for you to submit payment of any medical fees to your
parent’s insurance company.
In the
event the need arises for the handling of an insurance claim, detailed
information will be sent directly to you and your parents by the Hoosier
Boys State office.
