Send this request to your national headquarters for verification that the organization is in good standing.  Your national headquarters will forward your request to the Army Static Display/Ceremonial Rifle Team at TACOM for processing.

q       Site photograph(s) – These photograph(s) must show where you intend to place the display item.  It must include surrounding landmarks including your facility or the Park signs and setting.

 

q       Photograph(s) – Of all display equipment, your organization has.  This includes display items in parks and cemeteries that your organization has obtained.

 

q       Map of the local area – This map must pinpoint the location of your organization and the display site if different.  It must be detailed enough to permit visitors and/or inspectors unfamiliar with the local area to easily find the display.

 

Upon receipt and approval of your application, you will be offered a suitable display piece as they become available.  If the exact item you are requesting does not become available within a reasonable amount of time, you may be offered a suitable substitute item.

 

Be advised that upon acceptance of an item your organization will be responsible for all release, demilitarization, display site preparation and transportation costs associated with the loan of display equipment.  Demilitarization/ release costs can range anywhere from $225 to $6000 depending upon the type of equipment you are willing to accept. 

 

The transportation of an item must be at your expense via a commercial carrier.  This cost will be dependant upon the carrier you hire to move the item for you and the distance from its current location to your display site.
