ATTENTION! The following forms were mailed last week: Post Data Reports, Consolidated Post Reports, Post Certification Forms, Delegate/Alternate Forms. Please note that any Posts/Squadrons NOT certified by Close of Books, June 13, 2010, will NOT be receiving 2011 cards until they are certified. Extra copies of the Post Certification and Delegate/Alternate Forms are available under the Membership tab.

We did it!

Pepsi just announced the 32 qualifying ideas that have received the greatest amount of votes to earn grants from $5,000 to $250,000.
The finalists will be vetted and all awards will be given out on March 22. In the meantime, March 1 ushered in a new batch of ideas and voters.
In the section devoted to community health the #1 idea for $250,000 was presented by The American Legion, a non-partisan veterans organization, to support their Operation Comfort Warriors, a campaign “to provide comfort items (DVDs, calling cards, portable electronics, clothes, puzzles) to US military troops recovering in hospitals.”

Spring Conference Reservations to open March 1, 2010

The Indianapolis Marriott East Hotel will open for reservations for the American Legion, Department of Indiana Spring Conference 2010 on March 1, 2010. Reservations can be made via telephone at 317-322-3716.
